Hello.
I don't have Addisons, but you talk a lot about Adrenal glands, so maybe someone here knows about Pheochromocytoma. I won't bore you with details unless someone responds. Thanks

I only have a little bit of understanding from looking into this for a friend. Pheochromocytoma is, I believe, a tumor on the adrenal gland which makes the gland over-react, resulting in spurts of adrenaline that cause panic attacks and usually, but no always, high blood pressure. The catacholamine test is used to determine if a pheo is present, I believe.
This is all I know. Sorry I am not more help.

Hi,tcnj mom:
Thanks. That's a good start. Does anybody out there know more than tcnj or me out there?
tc, at least I know someone on this board at least knows the name. Do we have anybody out there who has, or had Pheochromocytoma?

Dear My Dad,
I'm afraid I don't know anything about it, but I do have a suggestion. Perhaps you may get more replies if you repost, making the TITLE of your post say, "Pheochromocytoma"? This way those with this condition will see right away that there is a post that would interest them! ~ Tracy
