I have scoliosis, and I'm just wondering If this will prevent me from getting any taller, the beginning of last year I actually grew half an inch. I'm 23, at what age do women stop growing? In 1999, the x-ray for my spinal cord was actually worse than 2003, as if it straightened out. will it keep straightening out or what? I try reminding myself not to sloach, can that work? Also are there any medical procedures to fix this problem, If so, then what.

I have scoliosis and I grew an entire inch when I was 24, which straighened my spine out somewhat. I've not grown anymore, and 24 for me was quite some time ago. After reaching adulthood, I know of no other option to fix scoliosis other than surgery...but I haven't checked into options since before I was 18. I visit chiropractors when I get in too much pain...which seems to have become a lot worse since I reached my 40's. Walking a lot is good for the spine. Another trick to try is to lean straight against a wall...head to heel...take three slow deep breaths, and you will actually walk straighter.
