Hello, I'm 31 years old, and for the past few years have had a hard painless pea sized lump in the back of my neck, I did get it checked awhile ago, the doctor did x-rays on my neck and said all was fine, so I figured it was ok and left it at that, but I my husband happened across it recently and I felt it and noticed it has gotten bigger and I'm also having some symptoms that are starting to worry me, (chronic low grade fevers 99.7-100, can't do anything slightly physical without exhaustion and shortness of breath, itchiness that drives me nuts at night, and pains in my arms and legs sort of like a toothachy feeling) Should I get this thing checked again or watch and see if it gets any larger?

You might want to consult your doctor again and if the doctor wants to disregard your complaints, just ask if they can guarantee you that there is nothing wrong... if they can not then it needs to be biopsied and maybe a full blood panel checked that includes the liver and kidney function tests.

Ask for a chest x-ray too, and make sure they test for Epstein Barr virus if they do a blood count.
