What do you know about Hep C and Rheumatoid Arthritis? My RA doctor said that in recent years there have been more people with both Hep C and autoimmune deseases.

I am not finding much on the internet about people having both conditions.

All I know is what you know. Sometimes people with hepatitis C test positive for RA. Some think this is a false positive for
RA and some think it is an autoimmune symptom of hepatitis C.

Interferon treatment can either cause this or make it worse, depending on who you are talking to.

I have not researched this particular issue, so I hestitate to make any statements about it.
