I Don't Know if You Can answer this question as Nobody incuding My Oncologist @ Univ. of Pa. Could either. I am a Cancer Patient that with Non Hodgins Lymphoma and have been managing My pain for Several Years on Levodromoran 2mg. I Usually Never Needed More than 4 mg. a day even on a "Bad Day" The Drugs Marketing rights were supposedly bought out by another company and I was told its release date would be in Aug.1999. I was last able to fill my prescription for it in May of 1999. No One Knows when if ever it will be available again. My Dr. has Subsituted OxyContin 20 mg.which is not as easily tolerated in My Case. I have been told by a Chemist that I had as a patient where I work that sometimes a company buys the rights to a particular drug so that they can take it off the market eliminating competition for a drug that they have rights to. Levodromoran 2mg. worked for me and I could ask for and receive any drug available by My Oncologist but it is so disturbing that a drug that worked for Me and I am sure many other cancer patients is being withheld. Why? Now I am on Oxycontin 20 mg. that does not work as well, Makes Me Tired at times and Now is receiving national attention because of Illegal street use. Do You have any answer to My question so I can accept that levodromoran is Never coming back and I can understand the reasons why. I would deeply appreciate it. Thank You for Any Imfo You Have. Tom
