My mother has had a small lump on a lymph
node toward the back of her neck. Her internist said the only way to be sure waht it is, is to remove it and test it. It has gotten very very small and then a litter bigger but never big. She thinks it was from a infection in her gum that went to her lymph node. But 1 year later and is still here. My question is if its a lymphoma woudn't her blood test, for white cell count be through the roof because her blood tests have been fine. Also she feels great and is never sick or tired, the only medical problem she has is asthma. Could it be a fatty tumor??? Do you think she should get it removed???? Also the DR said they would have to remove the whole thing, he said that draining it would not be good enough. She is afraid to get it done, she said when they cut your neck you bleed alot versus other places, is this true. The reason I am worried is because my mother is no baby, she is normally the strong one. Thanks!!!!!!!!
