hey my dad has this red bump that is crustly and raised up. it just developed a few weeks ago. should he go to the doctors? does this sound like skin cancer? i am really worried.

Hi as with any questions on this nature, it has to be seen by a competent physician. There is no one here that can advise. It would be very very wrong if I were to give a opinion you must get your dad to a doctor for that.

We can offer support, and tips and information that could help but in the very first it must be seen and diagnosed by a doctor. Either a dermatologist (which is preferred I think) or your family doctor who may or may not have the knowledge.

There are dermatolgists that are 'skin cancer' wise. But first (at least I do) is see my family doctor and then was referred if my doctor thought it a problem, to a derm.
