Well, I finally plucked up the courage to talk to my Fiance about it, and (as it luckily turns out) he was quite willing to talk about his Cancer experience, which made me a lot less nervous =8: )
I found out a lot about it, and (once again I am happy to say) the chances of him completing his remission time are very high as they caught his lymphomas early - thanks to a Doctor who thought enough to have everyone in his family tested after another family member was found to have Cancer.
On another good note, on the weekend he raised $700 in the Kids With Cancer Shave Day (for those non-aussies we have a Shaving month, where people shave their hair to raise money for Cancer cures) In the auction for the head shave his hair was the single highest bidded for item by $300! A massive effort when most heads only go for $50! I'm very proud of him =8: )
And b4 I go, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who emailed or replied to my message - you all helped me a lot, I appreciate your time and thoughtfulness, you are all truly special people =8: )
Cheers,
Krys
