Hi, I was hoping someone could tell me if they have had any of these symptoms.
First off, I am 24 and had a baby 14 months ago.
When I was 2 or 3 months pregnant I had bloodwork done and was told my wbc was low about 3.9. I had more bloodwork done some time after (not sure) and doc said it looked pretty normal again.
Well I had a cold about 2 weeks ago that only lasted 3 or 4 days, but have been very tired the last 2 weeks nad have had swollen glands.
Blood test came bacl with a low wbc again. Not sure how low until tomorrow.
I have had SEVERLY itchy legs for 3 years or more and the doc told me last year that it was just hair follicles but I am scarred up I have itched so badly.
I've just been living with it.
Please respond if you can,
I'm really scared.

Went to the doc today and found out my wbc has been low for every blood test I've had done for the past 6 years, except for when I was 3 months pregnant or so.
Does anyone know what that could mean?
I have to go see the specialist in a week to ask him.
I'm so worried.

Just wondering how you are and what did the doctor say?

Hi...I was just curious if you ever found out anything for sure on your tests. I am a survivor of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and one of my first symptoms was itching(which I did not know at the time was a symptom of this disease). Hope everything has turned out well for you.

hi there, i am so sorry you are so scared. lymph nodes will swell for alot of reasons it does not mean that you have cancer. my lymphoma is related to the neroumusclar diseases that i have. the docs say that tthey usualy dont get concerned unless there are at least 2-3 enlarged lymph nodes that are at least 3cm in size. i have enlarged nodes all over and had my thymus gland remooved due to it becomiing a tumor. low white counts can represent a virial infection. your doc can tell you for sure. i havve many other symptomms, take care and good luck....
