View Full Version : "Knots" and burning in neck

I have 2 "knots" deep under the muscle tissue in my neck on both sides of my spine for over 2 years now, as well as a burning sensation and throbbing thru-out the day. Sometimes I have night sweats but not too often. Mainly it feels like someone kicked me in the back of my neck. The lumps are deep and feel hard. My dr. thinks it's chronic neck pain caused by poor posture. I plan to see another dr. who will prescribe an MRI but I'd like to know if anyone has had these symptoms of lumps in the back of the neck and burning and what you have found out about it. Thank you.
