Oh my god I am so happy my pap smear was normal. I called my doctors office because they never called me (I have had an abnormal pap and nobody called me before) so I called to make sure. The nurse took forever reading my chart and here I was sitting on the phone sweating bullets, heart pounding, trying to breath. She kept saying lets see... Pause...the results say...long pause... She wouldn't spit it out and I was going crazy fearing that I had cancer and she didn't know how to tell me! I started assuming something was wrong until she finally read off what it said and said I was normal. I was and am sooooo relieved!

why were you scared of cancer?? If its a mild dysplasia that's way way long before it could possibly convert into a cancer. Congrats in the good result. I will have my pap in 5 months :)

I was worried it was cancer cause she kept prolonging the answer and I am paranoid like that! :wave:
