I didn't see any other topics on this..or i just didn't look hard enough..
I have always had some trouble doing the big "doo"... Until my dr. prescribed adderall for ADD.. while on that medication, i had no trouble at all, going normally every day..

The trouble is.. When i stop taking the adderall..i get very very constipated. I know adderall is like speed, and makes you go, but since ive always been a little on the stuck side, it makes it even worse. The thing is.. if i take over-the-counter laxatives, they either A. don't work, or B. give me VERY harsh diarreah.

I have extremely bad gas and stomach cramps usually at night after maybe 2 or 3 days without going.. and the bad gas isnt just..gassy, its very.. pungeant..

I have tried drinking the nasty orange stuff, tried increasing my fiber intake, even ate bran this and bran that for breakfast.. I'm not sure exactly what to do to make myself normal, and i really dont want to have to take a pill every day, whether it be adderall or a laxative, just so i can go normally.



Can anyone help me??

Hi I am having some of the same problems with my 9 year old son he is on ritilan and there is a condition called Encopresis that I am trying to find more information about I do not know if it is a childhood thing or if adults can get it also I hope I was of some help.
