Trying to put my mind at ease for the next week until my 6-month test. Thank you in advance! lost spirit 03-12-2005, 02:46 AM 3 months is 95 to 97 % accurate 6 months is 99.9% accurate a very rare few with normal immune function will test positive after 3 monts and usualy because of (CO FACTORS ) or risky behaviors in between testes . (ELISA) test is so sensative for example when used for hepatitis b if you were vaccinated 10 years ago on an (ELISA) test you would test as a Weak positive because of the antibodies . People that need a full year are immune surpressed alread because of cancer , or other immune disfunction and there bodies can't make antibodies at detectable levels . Most test at 3 months and are conclusive But if you need the assurance the 6 months certainly wouldn't hurt but if you were negative at 3 months I'm sure you're fine now ;) Good luck ........................:) In good health ............. .......................
