Does anyone know if there is a correlation between the two? Whether anal sex can cause colitis, or if anal sex is dangerous if someone had colitis in the past?

With such a great title i just had to stop by. I believe there are diseases that can be transmitted in this fashion as well as irritation. I tend to think of it as a one way device. To answer your question, im not an expert on this, but I do believe it can cause inflammation which could turn into a form of colitis, as well as spreading bacteria to the penis.

aslo-- is correct e-coli is a bacteria in fecal matter and is the biggest cause of UTI -- Urinary Tract Infections along with other bacteria. There are other irritation problems as well !!!

To me it sounds like having colitis (or have had in the past) brings no new problems associated with anal sex. Am I interpretting this correctly?
