Thanks. Sponsor shellyn 03-22-2005, 10:07 PM I am taking Straterra. I take it at night because it makes me sleepy. I am also fairly thirsty. I just drink more water. Everyone needs more water! Thanks. Hey Schecky  , I used to be on Strattera 100mg. Strattera shares some of the same chemicals as Prozac, or whatever the anti-depresion drug Eli Lily has. So I rarely became depressed or sad. I never had a mood swing. The reason I came off of Stattera was because it made me soo tired. I would take it in the morning after breakfest, then a few hours later I would just pass out... literally. I would become so exhausted. A guy down the hall in my dorm was taking it as well and he would some times throw up. Even though you are a female and this may be of no help to you (but maybe someone else who is reading), I had some sexual side efects with Strattera. I won't get into that, because all sexual side effects are kind of the same. I hope this somewhat helped and answered your question. linkj57 03-24-2005, 11:18 AM I have been on Strattera for about 5 months at first I had chills but they went away after a couple of weeks. I take it with food or it upsets my stomach. About 2 hours after I take it I get really tired for a couple of hours, but if I eat a snack the tiredness isn't as bad. The side effects are pretty much gone now. It just takes time for your body to get used to it. Hope this helps. |
