View Full Version : What ate your physical effects of depression??

Hi Everyone :D ,my doctor has just started me on anti-depressant meds as she thinks depression is my problem,i do feel pretty low at present but mainly due to my health worries which doctors are putting down to depression.
I won't list the problems im having yet,just some doctors are to quick to put everything down to depression/panic etc.....

Im sorry to hear you feeling down. Remember theres always ways to cope with things. Talking about them helps alot.

Well im a depressive and. I dont think you realy get any physical effects of depression. With depression, i have loss of appetite, tiredness, and boredom.

I think the only physical effect you get from depression, is weight loss cause you dont feel like eating.

On the other hand, many people gain lots of weight (like me) because we use food to try to self-medicate. I have gained and lost 50 pounds twice due to depression and recovery.

i guess tiredness is a physical effect of my depression my whole body feels like it has been through 9 rounds with mike tyson! ear still intact tho :)

My physical effects are headaches and other miscellaneous aches and pains for which there is no reasonable explanation, excessive tiredness:yawn:, loss of appetite. It sucks. :rolleyes:
