Hey Shakespeare,
I've been thinking (and praying) for you lately and I was wondering how everything is going. You know with the new PM dr, CPS and the whole rehab thing. Hope the stress isn't keeping you down. Glad to see your reply to the stomach pain post. It let me know that you are still out there.

Hey Street!
Yeah I'm still alive and fighting. Check out my post to Shoreline, maybe you can come up with any answers.
My daughter is out of rehab and back at home. There was some argument over her boyfriend but for now they are split. He really is no good for her. CPS would like to see me off all my meds and I guess to meditate my pain away. LOL I do meditate but it has never helped with the pain.
My current Ortho took me off the OxcyC because he doesn't get pre approval for any drug from any insurance company and I could not afford to pay it on my own. I am on the MCO for Medicaid and living in Section8 housing because I have not been able to work since the surgery so basically I'm too poor to pay attention. :D Now he has me on Avinza but OH BOY the side effects are REALLY BAD. Of course he has given me nothing for BT pain and tonight is one of those nights.
I new it would take a couple of days for me to reach a level on the Avinza and if I could stay at home all the time, near my bed then I guess it would work okay. All I did today was take my daughter to a DR apnt and then go shopping for a little while and now my back is screaming.
I never made it to the new PM due to a frozen car door and a close call with a tire tool! (another post of mine) but I am due to go on the 5th of April. I will also be seeing a new Ortho at that time and the next day I see a Neuro Surgeon.
My two biggest problems now are the muscle spasms that just won't quit. I brought this up to my DR and he won't change the skelaxin. That stuff just isn't working anymore. My other problem is I am going to try and start school again. I had to drop the last two quarters because of the pain. Well, classes start a full week before my new doc apnt. If I can't shop for two hours how am I going to make the half hour walk from my car to the campus and then sit through classes and still be alive enough to study with a halfway clear head?
I am going to try anyway but I know it will be very hard. I just can't keep blowing off school beacuse my doc says I am not disabled to collect SSD or anything like that. I am paying for my own retraining so I can go back to work so I have to finish.
Guess I'm long winded tonight. Maybe because there is a mountain of laundry all over my bed that needs to be folded and I am procrastinating. ;)
Thanks for thinking of me. All I can do is fight on. So here we go...Put Up Your Dukes!! :D
