I have been taking a Vitamin B 100 complex(timed release) for about a year. My dr didn't tell me to, I just did on my own b/c I heard good things about it. At first, I feel like it did help me, but now I am having a major probelm. My dr tested my blood and I do not have low blood suagr or hypoglicemia or anything like that. I take the b complex at 10:00 in the morning when I have breakfast and coffee. About two hours later, I feel so hungry. I mean I feel like I haven't eaten in a week. Then my hands start to shake, I get dizzy and nauseaous and feel like I am going to faint. Then after I eat I feel a bit better. Does anyone think this could be related to the Vitamin B? I am just so confused and I hate living like this. Maybe 100 is too much or soemthing?

sounds like the caffeine is causing the problem not the vitamin b

One cup of coffee contains 107 mgs. of caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant and
when consumed increases your heart rate, stimulates the adrenal glands to release adrenalin and caffeine also has a diuretic effect (water loss). Adrenalin
stimulates the nervous system (fight or flight effect). Drinking green tea would be much better for you, or at least follow up with a cup of green tea after your coffee. I would suggest a B-Complex sublingual (under the tongue).
The liquid form of vitamins are always a better choice vs. pills (lillte rocks as I call them). One last thought...B3 (niacin) when taken at 50 mgs. or higher can have side effects such as headache, nausea, a flushed feeling and dizziness. Check your dose of niacin in your B-Complex. Hope this helps :)

Monarachangel.... I think your B consumption may be what is cauing your dizziness and uncomfortable feelings...
I take 100 mg of all the B Vitamins per day, but only 50 mg in the morning and then another 50 mg at night....
Tried 100 mg in the morning once, didnt like it........

You could try and not take the B-100 supplements for a bit and see if that helps. If so, that's probably the problem. If it doesn't stop, then you can stop drinking the coffee and see if that helps. You may also want to increase the time between drinking the coffee and taking the vitamins to see if that helps. Of course, if all this fails you could try stop taking the vitamins and drinking the coffee and see if tha helps. But I don't know if after a year of your current routine if the problems you descibe would suddenly arise. You might want to see a doctor just to make sure it's not something else.
