Some of you may have seen my symptoms elsewhere. It started with colitis symptoms including a little blood mucous etc. I took a medication called Pentasa for five days. I also exercised using a weight machine as I usually did.
A day later I sat on the sofa and got pain near my shoulder blade, and possibly a little in the lower back. I then got tingling numbness in the arm, and left leg.
I started getting panic attacks and depression.
One year later its all still here. Ive had all the blood tests, x rays, gastro colonoscopy, they can find nothing.
Still have bowel problems and today the nerve stuff is horrible. Neck cracks a lot, swollen muscles on one side of the neck, sore thorax, nerves tingling and aching in arms, lower legs, upper thigh, burning feet etc.
Yet yesterday I had no bowel problems, and very little nerve problems. Sometimes I get a few days where Im 80% but most of the time, Im 10%.
I am taking an antidepressant for three days, and a ativan on occasion.
I have been to many doctors, but I feel too bad to have the tests done especially with the panic and depression.
I am losing my business and hurting my family. My theories were,
1. Chrons or Celiac, doctor doesnt see it or think so.
2. By coincidence I hurt the spine exercising, but would have to hurt both upper and lower vert to get symptoms upper and lower.
3. Lyme disease- Western blot comes up negative twice.
4 Running out of theories, but it must be serious. Any other theories welcome, but please dont scare me too much, im a basket case. Ive never been this afraid.
5. I really dont think this is all due to panic issues.
6. Im quite possibly doomed, or Im in a major serious condition.

I have the same thing. I'm going to the docs again today (No idea about a theory though. ) I have a hearbeat that I can hear and feel in the left side of my head. I hope I don't have lyms disease or something. I got doagnosed with a panic attack 6 weeks ago and it has been worse since then. Maybe it's a drug reaction. I'm on xanax and zoloft/.

I checked out some of your other posts, it seems offhand that we only have panic and some nerve type symptoms in common. (we may like the same kind of movies but thats another story).
I sympathize with your hospital stay nightmare, im sure this had a lot to do with escalating things to you.
Am i right in assuming that you must take one or two types of oral cortisone on a regular basis?
If so, unfortunately those drugs breed panic and depression, as well as deplete a lot of minerals in your body. So I would hope your doctor for that would try to help those issues out.
Anyway, my dilemma is that i have two seemingly unrelated crisis going on. It could be a result of disease, or I could have seriously hurt my spine and effected my nervous system. As i sit now, intestines hurt, spasm in left arm almost a tremor, heavy heartbeat, nerve pain behind left eye, both lower legs and feet pain and burning. Pretty much the same story all through the day. This lead to the panic and depression.
Thinking I would never see my daughter again and so on. There is so much real evidence of disease, that its hard to believe that much of it is caused by panic and fear, but in the back of my mind im not sure. Worrying and being scared to death for such a long period, could probably do a lot. Looking up diseases on the internet, etc.
So perhaps, the fear, the panic was there before I realized it waiting for the big one.
This irritated my digestive system somehow, released histamine, adrenaline etc. and as I was working out with a weight machine, compressed discs, throw in bad breathing as well. I find that if i nap sometimes, in the inbetween states, i find to my surprize that i am panting. Maybe when I sleep there may be a lot of this going on. This would effect the oxygen to the muscles and so on. Now my system is so messed up that I cant eat things I used to eat, or even take a simple sudafed for congestion like i used to. So theres a ton of things that could be happening, and i probably could spend years being tested and getting more fear. Who knows?
As for you, similarly, if you keep in a state of fear, its going to be hard to recover. We both could probably make it impossible for ourselves to heal. Unfortunately I think the antidepressants may be our best hope for improvement. But its important to find the right one. All the natural treatments are of help too, breathing exercise, walking, and anything to keep our minds off the affliction. If someone with authority could whisper in our ears, your bloodwork came back, "Panic Affliction" without a doubt. Then maybe we would stop the wondering a bit, and get to work on reducing the panic. We are in the same boat, and it could sink. But maybe the right little break, and the right plan of attack, might keep us afloat.
Best wishes
