I have a stomach ulcer called helicobacter pylori. I basically have been taking medications for a while but recently I started taking this natural honey and have been feeling better. Just wondering if anyone is familiar with it and what your experience is with it as far as treatment goes.

Hi there:)
My daughter recently had this and I know she couldn't eat too much for a while. She was put on two different kinds of antibiotics and also given prevacid for a month. After taking some more blood work, the bacteria is gone.
It is basically a bad bacteria in your stomach and ulcers and said to cause it somehow. Are you on any antibiotics?
Treatment is usually 2-3 different types of antibiotics to kill the bacteria off. I've never heard of honey, but if it works, why now huh? When I was little, I used to take honey for colds and sore throats. It worked great for a sore throat, plus I loved the honey, lol.

Hello,
I have had this bacteria a few times. I too had the 3 antiobiotic treatment. The honey that is widely used is "Manuka" not just ordinary honey. It is supposed to have several antibacterial properties and it is thought to help in keeping the helico under contro. It can be used topically too. There is a lot of information about it on the internet.
Keep well
