Hi,

I use the Climara patch, which is the same estrogen. When I first started using it I had a increase in hot flashes, which was my estrogen rising. After a couple of weeks it leveled off. I had a hyst and had to go 6 months with no estrogen so I was having alot of menopause symptoms prior to using the patch. Plus lupron before the hyst.

I feel good on the patch, as long as I change on time I have no menopause symptoms. I've had no side effects except I no longer have pms. Had some trouble getting it to stick the whole week at first but now clean the area with alcohol before applying the patch and it sticks good.

if you have trouble with the patch, try a compounding Estradiol Gel from a compounding Pharmacy. You just rub it on & it is much less expensive.

Hello, are those bioidentical hormones or synthetic? I'm currently on 0.9 Premarin and thinking of switching. Thanks!

Estradiol is bio-ID to the body's hormones

Premarin is PREgnant MARe urINe.

Which do you think the body prefers?
