i have tested negative for lyme disease and thyroid problems..
i know im in a depression but i wonder wich is affecting the other.
is the depression caused by a disease or are my syptoms caused by the depression?

i am from sweden so bear with me if some of this doesnt make sence.. if so feel free to ask and i might be able to clarify..
these are the symptoms i have: (listing everything i can think of now)

constant symptoms:
blurry vision (hard to focus on things specially moving objects so i can't drive a car)
brainfog (feel like i am walking in a dream, in fact dreams seem more real)
bad balance
bad coordination
dizzyness
disoriented
fatige (not the correct spelling but what i mean is i am constantly tired)
lost sence of self image (when i look in the mirror i don't feel like thats me)
moodswings

other symptoms:
outbursts of anger
feelings of complete hopelessness
feelings of love and hope

i have had these symptoms for 7 years.. plus i have felt constantly tired for 10 years

Sounds like you need to visit your doctor again, they need to run a lot more tests. These are symptoms you don't need to live with, you need to figure out what's wrong and get treated. There are many of your symptoms that don't sound like they can be all caused by depression, such as the blurry vision, bad coordination, bad balance etc. If I had that many problems, I would get depressed too. Good luck!

Have you had MRI's, EEG's, Visual Evoked Potentials, Audio Evoked Potentials, and the Evoked Potential that tests how your nerves react to stimulation? I would ask for all of these things to rule out any other desease or medical problems. Usually if they see something on these tests they might do a spinal tap or sometimes it is called a lumbar punture.
I would insist on the Visual Evoked Potential since you are having vision problems. It is where they do an EEG with a flashing screen and it tells how your eyes react to light and how quickly your brain responds.
I have a lot of the same symptoms you have, visual disturbances, balance problems ect. My MRI of the brain was okay. I am going to have the Evoked Potentials done on the 24th of this month.
Before you let them say it is just depression make them run the tests to rule out other problems. So many doctors can't figure out what is wrong so they just want to diagnois depression rather than run all the tests. Find a doctor willing to look into your symptoms futher before giving a diagnosis. I found a good doctor who is willing to do the tests and I hope you do too. Just keep trying. I hope the best for you.

MRI is magnetic resonance imaging. You'd probably know if you'd had one. I've never had one and don't really understand all of it.

My sister has intercranial hypertension (pseudo-tumor cerebri) which is a very rare disorder. Anyway, it has caused her to have depression. It's common for people that have health problems to become depressed. I'd definitely go back to your doctor to get more test to rule everything out. :nono:

my doctor has made me go to a psychologist at the hospital but after the hour session I still feel the same way. It feels like years I have been waiting for this to regenerate.

That is a lot of misery, sleepyg. I am sorry to hear it.

It seems clear from your description that you are depressed, and have been for many years (including perhaps the early years when you felt fatigue but weren't aware of depression), regardless of whether something else is wrong too. So I would suggest the following:

1) go on an anti-depressant. Most of your symptoms could definitely be explained by depression and could probably be helped with the right choice and dosage of an AD.
2) get your eyes checked if you haven't in awhile. Maybe the blurry vision, coordination and balance problems are related to a visual problem (maybe even something as simple as normal changes in eyesight through time, that could easily be addressed).
3) examine your living habits with brutal honesty -- do you have a healthy diet, get enough sleep, and have regular physical exercise? It's easy to forget that bad living habits contribute to fatigue and many other problems.
