im a recovering drug addict.. done everything uve ever heard of many many times and even alot uve never heard of.. im only 19 as well.. also been smoking tobacco since i was 9years old.. tho i didnt start inhaleing till 12 .. i grew up with aparient who smoked to , so i got cause for concern http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

my friends talked me into snorting some meth the other night (first time in ages) and as i was pickin anmd feeling my face(normal meth thing) i stumbled upon a rather enlarged lump ..

its located under my jaw almost directly in themiddle of my neck to my chin..(i feel it on the outside not the inside) its a bit to my left to. its painless.. i can move it around a bit but the back up it seems to be connected to somthing strongly. i went to sleep and woke up with it still there.. im thinking its a side effect from the meth but am still a bit concerned..(this isnt the first time my nodes have swelled up on meth) but its the first time one swelled up in this exact place.. and its the first one not to vanish over night...

any comments would be greatly apprecieated..

this is my first post.. great set of boards u guys got here http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I agree with the other person who posted..it sounds like it could be something related to your thyriod but I am not totally sure. I would say the best thing to do is go see a doctor about it if is doesn't go away within a week or so.

You are so young..take care of yourself. Don't let your health go by being on drugs. It isn't worth it. Snorting meth. can do a lot more serious damage to you than just a swollen node. Keep us posted on how you are doing. Good luck and take care! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
