I have a lump in the groin and i went to see the doctor about it and he gave me a local annesetic and took it off he sent it away to the lab for tests just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem and could it be lymphomas cancer?

You did the right thing having your lymph node removed. The only other way to check an enlarged lymph node is with a needle aspiration biopsy and that isn't always conclusive. With the lymphomas there is usually a swollen lymph node or nodes but that doesn't always mean that you have cancer. There are several other reasons for lymph nodes to swell. Your MD was being cautious and that is a good thing. Keep a positive attitude and let us know what you find out. Good luck and God Bless.
