Hi all,

I have neuro fibromatosis, I acquired it through my Mother. There are a few lumps on my back, thighs and bi-ceps which are about 1 to 1.5 cm long in diameter and a few on my stomach and thighs which are just about 3 mm long in diameter. They ***** sometimes and sometimes they pain when I touch them.

I read some articles on neuro-fibromatosis and they say that it is a genetic disorder and it cannot be cured. And moreover, if it causes severe pain they are removed through surgery.

I currently have a few, may be 15 to 20 of such nodules all over my body. I don't want that number to increase. Can anyone tell me what are the things that I need to do inorder to keep the number there itself? I workout a lot, I do a lot of weights also, but lately I have been wondering whether strenuous exercises are going to increase the number of nodules that I have in my body. I also want to know whether my eating habits effect the number of nodules. I cannot think of any other precautions but I want you to give me as many suggestions as possible regarding this increase in the number of nodules in my body.

Thanks a million in advance,
sbk
