Hi,
I am new to this web site. I am very worried about my symptoms. I went to the docs with a constant burning sensation on my lower legs. My skin feels normal to the eye and to touch. It also feels a little sore sometimes. My doc has refered me to a nuerologist to try to find the cause. I sometimes get a cold shiver running through me. I have spend hours and hours on the web trying to find out what this could be. Please can someone advice me on this. I worry 24/7. I have had this condition for the last 4/5 months now. Any help would be VERY much appreciated.
Thanks

Have you noticed if the bottoms of your feet are crimson colored with the burning?
Or have any change in color?
Does the burning feel like a high pitched ache,24/7.
Do you have a feeling that the legs and feet are on the verge of pins & needles or as if being squeezed through a tube?

I ask, because tho, mine is in my hands and arms, when I get into a Fibro Flare or something my legs and feet will be included in the symptoms I just described. I work on a computer for my job, I am not sure if that is the culprit, or if it Chronic Myofascial Pain or the Reflex Dystrophy Syndrome (not sure if its correct, its aka is RDS).
These are my symptoms right now, I'm researching and hoping for answers soon, sure would like to hear from you,
I have had scared moments with this, too.

Let us keep looking upwards, with belief and trust that in time the knowledge will be made known, meanwhile, if you feel better resting more and can, try to get off your feet and maybe seek massage therapy, too. Look for a therapist that knows how to treat FMS & CMP, they are the best!
Tho, it may feel life threatening, it very well could be just another FMS symptom of referred pain from the central nervous system malfunctioning.

Praying that you get an answer soon and for me too,

The lower back pain that I have also sometimes feels like a burning sensation and wraps around to my hip.....I told my daughter that in addition to the pain being typical muscle type pain it is also somewhat of a burning type pain right under the skin.......it is worse the longer I am on my feet.
