hello fellow users:

Me I am 31 have dull like a runners cramp if you will upper left abdomen, and sometimes lower, and at times will move to right upper side as wellor be bothe sides likes to move like many of you have experience of cramping kinda like if flu or diarehha..no BM ..sSometimes this cramping is pressent all day and sometimes for a week or more..massage does seem to help some. Here am I frustrated this has gone on for about 2 years and for me is getting worse.. or at least seems like it is stress does not help..do any of you have similar situation? for me the confusing piece is that it can last for days sometimes and all day with very little relief

Have had CAT scan, bloodwork, etc. Eveything looks great..I do have levcin( hope I spelled that right) That does help somewhat, takes the edge off, and helps, but sometimes ends up constipating me unless I drink lots of water. I have found diet and exercise helps some as well as keeping stress down

My on big hurdle in regards to searching this out I do not have health insurance and have tight budget so have not seen a GI doc really thinks it is IBS but also FMS is a possibility and by some reports 40%- 70% fms have IBS

How do you all cope? so many people I think just say lik eget over it, get on with it, deal with it or think you are just nuts because it has gone on so long..I know some of you know what I am talking about for me it is the not knowing..what if something else is wrong, what if they are missing something which they assure me they are not..times cramping is so bad it is hard to function and very drainnig wipes me out I get tired grumpy etc..not to mention feling like crude..sometimes feel like I have just taken a long road trip and ate junk food and drank mountian dew and drove for hours with no sleep..it is crazy crazy crazy..it even makes it hard to work at times..

so tell me what is you all experience ? any ideas? any helpful hints?

Thansk for letting me share :)

I went thru a year that you would not believe about 2 years with constant pain and bloating on my upper right quadarant. I went thru many tests and medicine and two doctors. Nothing was ever found. I did change a lot in my life since then and most of the symptoms are gone. I changed my diet, my workout routine, and changed most of the meds I take. I believe my symptoms were a combination of things.

Here is a bold statment but it's TRUE!!

All cramps in every muscle in your body is caused by lack of a mineral or minerals in your diet. My guess would be Magnesium or Calcium. But mostly Magnesium because we usually get enough calcium in dairy products we eat but you need magnesium to absorb calcium.

There is a post in the "Information Archive" at the top of this page about the Miracle of Magnesium -- post# 8-- It would be worth reading!!
