My 8 year old daughter has sever allergies to horses. Does anyone know a way to reduce her reaction?
Also, has anyone heard of hypollergenic curly horses?
any info is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Just out of curiousity- is it an allergy to the horse or to the hay that is always somewhere near a horse.
My cousin suffers horrible reactions to hay and at first they thought that it was the horse. After she was allergy tested- they found out it was the hay and she is now taking allergy shots weekly for it.
Thanks,
Dianna

I am terribly allergic to horses. I've actually had a skin test for horse dander.
I'm also terribly allergic to hay.
I've never had allergy shots for horse but the last time I was tested my doc said he could put it in the serum if I spend any amount of time around them. I don't so I didn't get it in there.

Are you sure she is allergic to horses? It could be grass hay or the different grooming products. Like silicone show sheen you spray on. I had horrible allergies, but never to horses. I have 5 horses.
