I've recently noticed a lump on the right side of my neck, about an inch above my neck line, It doesn't hurt it just feels swollen and it's sort of moveable The doctor is referring me to a ENT specialist sometime in the next couple of weeks im just so scared to find out it may be cancer. I even have dreams of them coming in and telling me it's spread I'm so scared. who knows how long i've had this. I've recently lost over 100lbs. And now that my double chin has gone I can feel it now. Anyone else have this experience.

You've lost over a hundred pounds?. Did any sort of exercise or dieting attribute to the weight loss?
Drastic weight loss if definitely a bad sign, but doesn't necessarily always mean cancer. There are so so many conditions that may cause swollen lymphnodes (the lump on your neck is most likely a lymphnode), weight loss and etc. You should try your best not to stress too much about it yet. Stressing is not good for your health and will only make yourself feel worse, physically and mentally. Just relax until you meet with the ENT, and hopefully he/she'll have a better clue to what's going on.

Depending on the mass and quantity of the nodes, the doctor might request a biopsy to be done.
Any normal person will be scared to some extent.
I've been scared for 3 years. If I wasn't scared, I would've gotten a biopsy a long time ago.
So just try not to worry about it too much. I'm sure it'll be fine. =)
