Please help .... I'm new.
Only diagnosed 24 hours ago. I started with left leg swelling a couple months ago. Doctor said it was "standing too much" ... felt "thickening" ...type thing in left lower abdomen. Ultrasound showed swollen lymph nodes there and around spine. Went for chest x-rays. No results yet.
Help ...I'm terrified. Radiology said "Lymphoma".
Doctor agreed. Said will go for CT and then see Oncologist. Do my symptoms sound "early" or
"advanced" to anyone? .......Do people survive this? ...I'm terrified....please help.

Lots of people survive lymphoma.I've had it twice in 8 yrs. Wasn't completely gone the first time so it doesn't count. Lymphoma's usually have a pretty good survival rate if cought early enough. If all is below abdomen easier to get rid of then above and below. Mine involved my lungs and spleen and nodes above and below abdomen. I'm 2 yrs clean now after a stem cell transplant. Hang in there.
