I just finished reading your posts on night sweats. About 7 months ago, I started having them ONCE IN AWHILE. I attribute it to my period, but it is very annoying as I wake up so soaked that I start freezing when I hit the air, and I have to change. Shortly after this started, I started sweating profusely during the day. I have always been a super cold person and have NEVER had a problem with sweating before. At any rate, I blame it all on hormones. I am 36, and I realize my body is "a changing."
Also, in the past months, I have been really lightheaded. Now, about a month ago, I started getting swollen glands. I have two behind my ear, two in my armpit, and several in my groin. They aren't super big though, but I noticed when some of them popped up cuz there was a slight tingling in them right before they came. I went into the doctor two weeks ago because I was so short of breath and had pain in my sternum, but that was all I had the doctor check. At times it feels like there is a rubberband around my neck, and my eyes feel like they are ready to pop out. They agreed that my breathing was really bad, and they did a chest xray, but it was fine. I was put on antibiotics for a week.
Currently, I have bone pain, which is really sporadic. It always occurs in the same place. It acts up daily but it isn't a constant pain. I also get sporadic pains under my ribs both on the left and right side. I guess the thing that bothers me most is the pain I get on the bone right below the collar bone. There is a small lump there, and when the ********es on, it is very unpleasant. I really haven't had much for fevers - 102 one day and 100 one other day.
I really want to ride this out cuz I have a vacation coming up and I don't want to be running to the doctor before I go, but if it's anything that sounds like it should be checked out, I will schedule an appointment after my trip. Guess I'm just wondering if any of this sounds familiar to any of you out there. I was also wondering if anyone has experienced pain after drinking alcohol, and if so, how long did it last? I get pain in the same areas every time I have alcohol, but it doesn't last long. It's just short, stabbing pains in the right ankle, right armpit, right chest bone, and under the ribs on both left and right side. Just curious!!!

Just reread my post, and I am thinking that everything is probably just coincidental. I really don't feel horrible, so no doubt it's a minor virus that is lingering. Sometimes it helps to see things in print :-)
