Hello all- here is my story.

I was on minocycline drug to clear up a few minor spots. started feeling a pain around my left eye so stopped taking them. a week later woke up one morning to find my face bright red and the texture of sandpaper. Went to doc who prescribed antihistamines. Stayed on them for a week my skin peeled off gradually went back to normal except feeling totally exhausted. five days later my face had swollen up round the eyebrows chin eyes cheeks jaw mouth etc. went back to doc said they did not know what it was to go back on antihistamine and refer me to an allergy clinic with a year long waiting list! Went home swellings would variate but did not go down. Had terrifying headaches at night especially when lying down and could see coloured blobs when my eyes were closed. also very very fatigued only energy to get a couple of things from the grocery store. One night trouble breathing went to emergancy and accident department. but swelling and breathing especially was ok by the time i got seen. Went back to doc who upped my dosage of anti histamine. Asked to be referred to dermatoligist privately to sort out this mess.Dermo saw me told me to go to hospital next day where she immediatley referred me to accident and emergancy medics. the night before going to hospital had severe stomach cramps and fever and pains in upper thighs. got up to go to the toilet thought i would pass out or be sick lay on landing floor into much pain to move anywhere accept my head slightly. Extreme trouble breathing. Dad did not take me to a and e because of response last time. eventually got an hour sleep after shivering ( continued in next thread)
