I have been taking a B-50 complex vitamin daily for about 5 months now and am pleased with the results. I keep reading the benefits of taking a calcium/magnesium supplement. I am not sure about what amount of this vitamin is safe to take in combination with the B-50? I am not aware of the consequences of taking more than 1 type of vitamin. I don't want to overdo it. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I just asked this the other day to my doctor. I take a multi-vitamin (which you really need every day) a B6 and one extra Biotin. Now I asked how many I could take and he said whatever your body doesn't use it will flush out anyway. Now only vitamins A & E can be harmful if you take to many of these. Evidently they don't flush out like the other vitamins, so what dose you get of those in your multi-vitamin is plenty. I just posted a question on here about the Omega 3. Wondering if I can take this with all my others. I don't know if it will be ok to take with what I'm already taking. I'm not familiar with it at all.

I'm no Doctor but I take many many vitamins and supplements every day and since I have started I just keep feeling better. I take 1000 mg of omega 3 three times daily to keep cholesterol low.

Yes, I think you only need to watch out about taking too much vitamin A and Vitamin E.
