I was lying down asleep when i awoke and i sat up to watch tv
but when i did i dont know if i moved wrong or what! My chest
popped!! And then when i would turn or lay back down a certain
way it hurts some and feels like its gonna pop again and sometimes
it does! I also get a bit of back pressure but not too bad and then
sometimes it goes away...Well i went to the hospital to figure out
what this was and then had x-rays given to me but 4 different people
pressed on my chest and asked if it hurt and geez it hurt..not
excruciating but good enough to turn away from them pushing on you.
So the chest x rays came back negative which there was no fracture
or anything of that kind but they just said sometimes your bones can
pop just like your knuckles and not to worry over it. Well i just want
to know if this has happened before to anyone else and what did you
do to get some comfort?? Or how long did it take to go away??
Please feel free to reply. I am a 24 yr old male by the way...

Hi, It sounds like you might have a condition called costochondritis. Type in the word on the health boards and see what you get. Also there is alot of info on the internet about this condition. Good luck, balleteach
