View Full Version : Painful Mole appearing from nowhere?

Recently I had discovered a tiny dark mark on my back and then I scratched it. After scratching it, it sort of became slightly bigger and now there's some pain when I press it or aggravate it. I think the tiny dark mark used to be a scratch cos' I never had a mole there before. Anyway right now, the mark is a little raised and there is pain therefore the surrounding areas are red.

Can cancerous moles appear out of nowhere? Or am I worrying too much about a scratch? I'm not even sure if it's a mole or something else.

I don't spend a lot of time under the sun although it has happened before.

Help?

Don't waste any time getting to the doctor with this one. Melanomas are not to be played with, if it is one. Make sure that they know what they are doing and don't hack you too much. A specialist is best for these types of things. :nono:
