I have a lump in my right groin and it is tender and I can move it. I can not always feel it, the lump or tenderness. One doctor mentioned it could be a lympth node and another one mentioned the possibility of a hernia. I will be talking to my doctor in the next few days and I am interested in any information related to this. Thank-you. Patty

I have the same thing in my groin. I'm getting it biopsied tomorrow, will know more in a week or so. The possibilities presented to me so far are: (1) reactive lymphnode (which is not serious); (2) sarcoidosis (because I have a high ACE level in my blood); and (3) lymphoma. Right now, the doctors do not think it's lymphoma, but I know they wouldn't want a biopsy unless there was a chance it could be. I've had a chest X-Ray, which turned up fine and my blood levels, other than the ACE level, are all absolutely normal. If anyone's interested, when I get my results, I'll post them.

I am very interested in your results. I have a large lymph node in my groin along with several smaller ones. They are a little bumpy and oddly shaped. I think they are interfering with my nerves some now cuz I have to shift around a lot when I'm sitting because of the strange feelings I get. I went to the doctor today because I have tons of swollen lymph nodes, but he didn't attempt to feel any of them. He did run a bunch of blood tests, and I'm assuming that those came back fine because I haven't heard otherwise.
Please let us know what you find out!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I must've posted my results only on another thread. Anyway, my biopsy came back negative, which is great. So, as of now, there's no treatment. I am going to see a pulmonary specialist in a few weeks to see if I do have sarcoidosis, but that's doubtful. I am having a few complications with the surgery, but it's nothing that is too bad. Sorry that I didn't post earlier!
