View Full Version : Can anyone answer this?

My 81 year old father-in-law has prostrate cancer. He's been going thru hormone therapy and has reduced his PSA to 3.1.

However, a recent CBC shows that his myelocyte level is extremely high. 144. Do myelocytes have anything to do with prostrate cancer specifically or is it something indicative of the cancer spreading elsewhere...to his bones?? He had had a CAT scan one year ago and that was clean.

Thanks!
CC
