Hi
Has anyone with fibro. tried the no sugar diet with any success. My son has been reading up on this on some website and is trying to get me off of sugar. I don't believe I eat things with lots of sugar but I guess there are a lot of fruits and veggies that have natural sugar. Any info or success story would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Lyn in Michigan

Last winter, which was a bad one for my fibro, I started on the Atkins diet. In two weeks I felt so much better. Most of the aches and pains went away or decreased.

However, I did not stay on the diet because it was increasing my indigestion. I just didn't eat any bread or sugar and felt fine.

This Christmas, I went astray and started eating bread and sugar. The usual winter aches and pains hit as did my bad eating. I am now beginning to back off bread and sugar in hopes that this will clear up a little. It is really bad.
