Thank goodness for this board! Until I found it, I didn't even think of perimenopause. Seems like my body is going nuts and I can't figure out what is happening. So many strange and out of the ordinary things are happening. Subtle but I notice them. Very unnerving and some just plain annoying.
Anyway, I was wondering if any of you are getting any wierd skin spots. I keep thinking they are moles, but I'm not sure if they are. I remember my mom had all kinds of wierd skin things - skin tags, wart like things, blotches. I keep noticing these slightly raised, flesh colored to slightly pink/brown spots appearing on my body. Not many but a few. Just noticed another one the other day. I've already been to the dermatologist to have a mole removed from my toe and I really don't want to keep running to the derm everytime some spot shows up. I'd be going in every month! I'm thinking it's hormone related, kind of like some of the wierd things that showed up during my pregnancies. But have any of you noticed mole like or raised spots appear more during perimen. and menopause?
Thanks for any advice.

While I was pregnant I had moles/warts. They went away after giving birth only to return since I started perimenopause.

Hello! I have been getting these tiny red "dots". I asked my dr about them and she called them cherry..... can't remember what they were called, but she said people get them as they get older. I can relate to noticing every "subtle" thing about your body. I have never paid such close attention to my body in my life! I found myself looking at the bottom of my feet the other day and thinking, "Gee, have my feet always had these dry, cracked lines in them?" Sad but true! :)
