Hello, I am a 22 year old female and I really hope someone can help me with these issues, I have recently started to experience hair loss and shedding and my doctor said I should use 5% rogaine for men, I hear it gives facial hair also, I am worried and do not want that, I am hoping someone that has used it or know someone that has used it can tell me their story and offer any suggestions please.

I am also curious if any women have thyroid problems or anemia, please give me details

once you use rogaine you can never stop, it should be a last resort only.

what happens if you stop using it, what are the side effects while using it and after using it

the hair you gained from using it falls right backout

have you ever used it? does it grow a lot of facial hair?

I have Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia its and blood disorder that makes you very anemic and I have been on Prednisone since Nov 1st when I was dx ...I lost hair at the beginning of taking the medication...I have tapered back on the meds that hair loss is not as bad but I now have ...what I would call sprouts, on the part (either side or in the middle) it looks like I am sprouting hair! It sticks straight up and its really weird looking! I am assuming its new hair growth like I have all of my like but it never has stuck straight up until I started take this medication...yet I have grown a ton of facial hair which is not attractive at all being a 34 year old female...I know that’s from the meds also...figure that out! If any one has had the same experience let me know.
