My 76 year old father, who has had a number of skin cancers removed over the past several years, was told this morning that an eruption on his chin is merkle cell carcinoma. The surgeon to whom he was referred told him that he wants to remove the lymph nodes in his neck as a part of the surgery to remove the cancerous cells on his chin. I am having difficulty finding info on the web. Can anyone point me to a good source? I will be most appreciative.
