A few weeks ago I noticed a small patch (about the size of a pencil head) of dry skin. It is not a perfect circle, nor is it red. its just dry scaly skin. I am an avid tanner inside and outdoors. I read somewhere that this could be the beginning of squamous cell carcinoma. Anyone have any suggestions of what this might be?

It doesnt sound like it to me. Plus, that kind of skin cancer isnt deadly by far, I think the survial rate is about 95%. Dont sweet it, if you see any changes or it gets bigger than youve got a problem.
