jazmin, please see a doctor. any mole with a change in size or color or if you get any itching or tingling must be checked as soon as possible. you may or may not get all or any of these symptoms. my husband (age 41) had a brown mole for years that got a pink color( after one summer of being in the sun a lot which is something he usually didnt do) to it with tingling. it was cancerous and he had to have it removed.he now has a big scar on his back but he is alive!we have been told that these kind of cancers travel fast to the brain and lung tissue and death comes very fast, within 3 to 4 months. we did loose a real good friend to this type of cancer 2 years ago. so please anyone out there with any doubts please see your doctor early....dan and rhonda

About 2 months ago I got 2 moles removed. I got the whole freezing process and cutting process done. My doctor told my that he'd have the results back and call me if there are any concerns. He didn't call. Just today I noticed that one of my moles I had cut off is looking like it's growing back. I am really concerned. Does this mean I have cancer? If someone could please post me back any feedback please do so. [ please carefully review the posting rules - no emails ]

I am sure that if you had cancer the doctor would have called you back about the biopsy. Call your dermatologist and make an appointment to have this new growing mole looked at. Better safe than sorry.

I have a mole on my outer thigh that has been there for years (maybe 10+) I am now 22 yrs old with an olive complexion, dark hair and eyes and I tan very easily. The mole is slightly raised, about the size of an eraser, maybe smaller and brown with a little darker brown around the edges. The shape is almost rounded, not completley rounded circle but smooth not jagged edged. It had ALWAYS been that size, shape and color for as long as I remember. Because of the color and shape I had asked my Dr. a few years back if I should be concerned and she said not unless it changes. It never bothers me and has made no changes. I am a worry wart though! Should I be concerned or maybe just watch for changes?
