:) I am a 47 year old woman and 16 months out from a 5 level cervical laminectomy without fusion. I read the boards regularly and very seldom do I see a multi level lam. without fusion. I was very active before the surgery (for severe congenital stenosis) and still do not feel as though I am fully recovered. Still have a hard time getting through the day without having to lay my head down and relieve spasms and burning and sometimes a gripping feeling in my throat. I try to stay cheery but it seems most are fully recovered by this time...especially those with a fusion. Does anyone else out there have information about a multi lam without fusion and recovery time? I would appreciate any info I can get. Thanks :)
