I have been going through a roller coaster ride since November 2004. To date, these are my symptoms:

· Non-painful muscle jumps in my left calf
· Fast body jerks, shock-like, non-painful, awakes me from sleep, happens while awake and still or when I’m falling asleep and wakes me up*
· Severe painful muscle contraction in back and shoulders, while awake
· Shooting pain in legs, arms, knee, feet, back of head behind ear
· Migraines, but is being well controlled by Nortriptyline
· Cold Hands and Feet
· Arthritis pain in arms and legs (dull pain) when cold
· Hard large bump on left arm, was very painful until I took muscle relaxer. Pain went away, but bump is still there
· Short sharp shooting pains to left temple area leaving me disoriented for a few seconds.
· Left side of body has slight less feeling than right side.
· Tingling in left arm from shoulder through fingers.
· Almost dropped son, he was suddenly too heavy for me

Very scary stuff, I'm currently taking Nortriptyline for Migraines and Neurontin for pain. HELP.

No- this does not sound like ALS, but I would definitely want to get it checked out by a neurologist as is does sound like it could be something neurological.
