I've have on and off pain in the lower right side just above my waist which seems to be intensified after having unprotected sex with my girlfriend. We usually have sex with condoms but in the instances where we have not used a condom this feeling usually follows like a couple of days following. Typically, along with this discomfort in the lower right side is - which feels like liver pain, and I know this sounds weird, less satisfying flatulating (ie, weaker expulsion of gas), and overall discomfort. I have had epidymydis instances resulting from unprotected sexual content with her as well.

I'm most concerned about this pain because it feels like the liver. I have had tests and all hepatic function tests come back as normal. The doctor said it's not hepatitis but can I be sure? Is there something like hepatitis that you can get through sexual contact? Can it be recurringly transmitted? My girlfriend and I have both been tested for STDs and test negative.

Please shed some light if you can. Anything would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, this is not a typical picture of hepatitis, and if your blood test are ok, I think you really have NOT any hepatitis.

You problem sounds really strange - I am not a doc, but I would try to trace more links between your problems and your behaviour (e.g. is it possible that by unprotected sex you make love longer or "wilder" than usually? etc).
