Is anyone contending with melanoma and pregnancy issues?
I was diagnosed with melanoma around this time last year. I had surgery in Dec '01. This year I have found out that I need fertility treatment in order to successfully conceive... my derm has advised ag. preg and indeed any hormones of any kind for 2 years post surgery, stating my risk of metas. is "small but real". I have decided to pursue pregnancy AMA. But because it is AMA I keep pretty quiet abt it. It would be great to hear from anyone for whom this issue of pregnancy and melanoma has arisen.
