I am new to this board I am normally on the MS board. but I just found out yeaterday that my grandpa has ALS. I myself have MS and I was hoping that the two related in someway to each other so that grandpa and I could find some answers. I really dont know much about ALS and I was just wondering what goes on with this disease. Any insight would be greatly appriciated.

i have been dxd with als then lyme disease. i have come to find that both als and ms along with over three hundred other diseases are regulary misdxd lyme. the only way to know for sure is to go to a lyme expert only. even the cdc and fda guidlines state lyme tests are unreliable and not to be final determination for ld. please visit the lyme thread and ask for others opinion there.
