:angel: I really didn't think I would handle it. I had to take a breather. But once I did I thought back to all the good times I had caring for those who others pushed aside. Even though I'm married and straight I had the respect of each and every gay man I worked with. By the way the majority of the men I worked with were not gay but were infected through needles or cheating spouses about 50 /50. So much for aids being a gay disease. Then there were the children.I've been called everything from a teddy bear to an angel. Being so close to death has given me a new respect for life.So many have died in my arms witrh a kiss farewell on the forehead.For those of you who are saufferring from loss , concenrate on the good times and realize that your loved ones are in a far better place.
