Noobie, I know that you were supposed to have your teeth pulled yesterday and was just checking to see how you are doing. I don't know if you have been following my post but I had mine done on Thursday by the dentist. I woke up in the middlle of the procedure so I am glad that you are having an oral surgeon do it. I had a real hard time for the first two days then it became a whole lot easier. I just wanted to wish you luck and see how you were doing.

Hey, thanks for thinking of me!! I was just reading through your posts and seen that you are banned? So I searched for your posts to see if I could see a reason why and came accross this! I didn't even see it, I'm sorry!
Today is day 3 for me. The pain is not nearly as bad and the swelling has went down considerably but however I am now black and blue. I love my new smile though!!
The day of surgery, as you may know I am 23 weeks pregnant, I showed up at the hospital and they had me scheduled for a c-section!! :O I was like noooo I'm not THAT pregnant!! Scary!! Anyway, I was telling the anesthesiologist that I was afraid I'd wake up during the procedure (thanks to you ;)) and she reassured me that during her career she has yet to have that happen to a patient. She was very sweet, she rubbed my head until I fell asleep and the next thing I knew I was awake and they were listening to my baby's haertbeat with the doppler. Instantly I asked for a mirror and she said she didn't have one I'd have to wait until I got to my regular room. So I get there and right away I asked my Mom for a mirror and I was in awe with my new teeth. I was pretty numbed up with novacain so I could only lift half my lip but I was really impressed with my new teeth!!
After about 20 minutes the novacain started wearing off and I was becoming rather uncomfortable. They gave me some Morphine through my IV and I felt good for about 30 minutes. After that I got another dose of Morphine then they cut me off. :/ I took a Lortab they gave me and it was then tolerable. The pain pills are way too strong for me and they make me sick so I've been having to cut them in half.
Anyway, as the day went on my face got bigger and bigger, but only on the left side. I also had my wisdom teeth pulled and I know the left tooth was far more impacted then the right so I think that's why. With the pain pills I was able to manage my pain so thank goodness for them!!
Day 2 I woke up in some pain. After my pill took effect I was good to go and headed off to the dentist. I told him I was having pain on my gums by my nose and that it felt like the denture was digging into my gums up there so he took them out and shaved some stuff off and stuck them back in. When he put them back in it hurt SO BAD I literally was screaming in pain. Now it's day 3 and I should have taken this thing out and rinsed my mouth and cleaned the denture but I'm terrified!! It hurt really bad!! I'm worried IF i actually get the courage to take it out that there is no way I'll be getting it back in! So today, being Day 3, the pain is much more tolerable and the swelling is down drastically but I still look like a chipmunk storing food in my cheeks. ( *;* ) <-- thats me!! I'm about to attempt to take this baby out. I'm scared! ANyway, it says you're banned but try and post back, let me know how things are working out for you. Do you have any regrets? I absolutly Lo0o0o0ve my new teeth and I can't wait until all the swelling, black and blueness, and pain are gone so I can go out and show my beautiful new smile off! Thanks again!!
